There are two antiques shows I try not to miss every year: The first is the East Hampton Antiques Show held at Mulford Farm (stay tuned for my finds from the second). It's a beautiful show brimming over with great dealers. Martha and I both agreed that this was one of the best year's in terms of offerings in a long time, so I wanted to share a few of my favorite discoveries.

A jaunty beginning to a spectacular day

Each stall is beautifully presented

I love this giant blue hurricane -- one of a pair

How great is this hat with strands of raffia strawberries twisted around it?

A coffee table I coveted had sold by the time I got to it, but luckily this Italian silver dish had not. It came home with me!

And so did this giant martini shaker (both from Mantiques in Manhattan).

Now I'm perfectly prepared for all those Autumn cocktail parties I'll be hosting ...
