RPG Races

Hi guys!

First of all, new on these forums, so, hi!

Secondly, dunno if this is the right section of the forums. If not, please move it to the right section.

Now then. We all know the races commonly associated with rpgs, whether it is fantasy, steampunk, or, at times, even sci-fi. Of course, I'm talking about the humans, elves, orcs, dwarves, gnomes, and so on.

I was wondering, however, how people feel about races that don't fall into this category of clich? rpg races. If a setting didn't feature any of these classic races - not even humans - how would you feel about that?
